Psychological testing and assessment

Testing and assessment are provided at our affiliated clinic, "Select Services by OPS." The two clinics are housed in the same building and share some office staff and providers. However, the two clinics are separate entities with different procedures and billing systems.

If you or a family member has been referred for psychological or neuropsychological testing, you probably have some questions. Or you may have heard about psychological testing and wonder if you or a family member should be tested. Psychological testing may sound intimidating, but it's designed to help you. In many ways, psychological testing and assessment are similar to medical evaluations; if a patient has physical symptoms a physician may talk with the patient about their symptoms, order X-rays and blood tests, and review medical records to understand what's causing the symptoms. Like medical tests, the results of psychological tests will help to develop a treatment plan. Insurance & Payment Plans

Select Services by OPS does not contract directly with insurance companies, however clients are usually able to use their out-of-network insurance benefits to pay for testing/assessment. Insurance companies typically will reimburse clients for 60% - 80% of the total costs.

 

Additionally, we offer zero-interest, zero-fee payment plans through CareCredit.

  • Pre-employment psychological screenings (law enforcement, border patrol, public safety officers, etc.)

  • FAA-required evaluations for pilots / air traffic control

We do not conduct parenting or custody-related evaluations, nor do we accept court-mandated evaluation referrals.
