  Dr. Megan Russell

Dr. Megan Russell received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University in Arizona. She also completed an APA-accredited internship at the Arizona State Hospital and subsequently a postdoctoral residency in Clinical Neuropsychology.

​

Dr. Russell's clinical experience includes providing psycho-therapeutic intervention and psychological and neuropsychological assessment in a variety of treatment settings. She works with a variety of presenting issues, including depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, trauma-related issues, psychosocial factors impacting medical/health issues, and stress management. Additionally, her evaluation background includes neuropsychological assessment (e.g., dementia, mild cognitive impairment, traumatic brain injury, stroke, ADHD, etc.), pre-surgical evaluations, and general psychological evaluations.

Dr. Russell is committed to providing compassionate patient care and utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. She uses a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) treatment approach and values developing a collaborative relationship with her clients.

​

In her free time, Dr. Russell enjoys exploring the incredible outdoor activities that the Tacoma area has to offer. She also enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and practicing yoga.
